Peggy Archer works as a film and television lighting technician in Los Angeles, and she has a fantastic Flickr set of behind-the-scenes lighting and rigging photos from some well-known and bigger-budget productions: Random set photos [via B-Scene Films] Techies, take a look and geek the hell out!
I was pleased to note that although these big productions have fancier toys and more of them (18-kilowatt HMIs—yowza!), the setups can be just as haphazard as anything I’ve put together.
Incidentally, Peggy has what looks to be a very content-rich blog: Totally Unauthorized. I haven’t had time to look through it, but I think I’ll be adding it to my RSS feeds.
